After a strategic review, LV= has decided to transfer the management of its investment
funds from Liverpool Victoria Portfolio Managers Limited to Threadneedle Investment
Services Limited. This transfer became effective on 1 November 2011.

This decision has been taken to enable LV= to focus on its core activities within general insurance,
protection and retirement solutions, while at the same time ensuring the best outcome for investors.

LV= wrote to all investors in the LV= funds advising them that their investments would be
transferred unless clients contacted the company to advise otherwise. Investors can discuss any
changes to their investment arrangements or request a valuation by calling the administrator of
the funds on 0845 113 0273 between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
